$300+ Billion in Those Old Rocks

As a little girl, my mother played on the stones of Stonehenge. The monument was just a short way from her grandparents (Sir William of Pyt) at Pyt House. Over the centuries her family had no use for those old rocks. They were just sticking up in the middle of their fields and too big to move. “What a ruddy nuisance” I am sure they would say. When they finally got rid of that acreage so very long ago, it was likely an unimportant day. The old rocks had no value to anyone, except maybe those curious druids that were always there one day each year.

60 or so years ago, a motorway (interstate) came through just a mile away from the henge. An entrepreneur type installed an exit, a fully paved access route, and a very large car park near the stones. A large circle was roped off around the henge and then they built a parking lot toll booth, gift shop, café and a lot of pay toilets. Those old rocks have paid out big now for decades.

In the mid 1990’s, prospectors exploring the remote wilderness frontiers of Northern Ontario discovered vast deposits of Rare Earths, PGE’s, Nickel, Copper, Chromite and so much more. They named it the “Ring of Fire”. At the time, no one really cared. You see there were so many deposits of pretty rocks lying around, it really meant nothing to us, and you couldn’t get there very easily anyway. People could just go out their back doors and pick up quartz rocks with streaks of gold to use as a paper weight. A chunk of silver ore was just a great door stopper, and they named a whole town “Cobalt” because the stuff was everywhere. To many the real value of the area was the incredibly large Moose and Caribou that could feed a family for a whole winter.

A team of international industry leaders have seeded NORN, and now along with a team of top tier investment bankers, commit to investing a further $2 Billion to create the NORN Express. We will help move “Those Old Ring of Fire Rocks”, along with so many other critical Northern Canadian materials not readily accessible now.
